Why certificate counts and purity-result counts differ

A certificate archive can contain more documents than numeric purity results. An image-only report still belongs in the document inventory even when its result has not been transcribed. The useful denominator depends on the question: count all records when describing archive coverage, and count only valid numeric results when summarizing percentages.

For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.

The Eon GHK-Cu archive snapshot used to build this page contains 14 certificate records and 13 numeric purity values. These are records in the source data, not a count of independently sampled production groups. Missing transcription does not establish that the original certificate lacks a result.

Download the records and field definitions (JSON). The numeric rule accepts only an unqualified percentage string. Missing or qualified values do not become zero.
