Detector response and peak-area interpretation
Peak area reflects a detector response under a particular method. Equal areas do not automatically represent equal masses of different compounds unless the measurement approach supports that interpretation.
For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
A result labeled as area percentage should keep that basis. Do not rename it as mass purity or content during a data cleanup. If the report supplies a calibrated quantitative result, record it as a separate field with its method.
