Peptide content and purity
Peptide content describes an amount or fraction of peptide on a specified measurement basis. It should not be treated as interchangeable with chromatographic peak-area purity.
For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
A container label, a measured content result and an HPLC percentage answer different questions. Preserve their units and definitions. Where a report supplies content, read its basis; where it does not, leave the field unreported.
What to retain in a research record
- Label quantity
- Measured content with units
- Method and calculation basis
