Chromatographic resolution
Chromatographic resolution describes the separation of neighboring peaks. A purity interpretation depends in part on whether relevant components were separated well enough for the reported analysis.

A clean-looking main peak does not independently establish that every possible impurity was resolved. Read method information and any reported suitability criteria. If the certificate supplies only a headline percentage, record that limitation rather than infer an unseen chromatogram.
