Missing certificate fields are not zero results

A blank analytical field means the available record does not supply that value. It is not equivalent to zero, a failed result or a passed result. Those are different states and should remain distinguishable.

For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.

In an export, use an empty value plus a clear status or note. For summaries, explain whether missing values were excluded. Replacing blanks with zero can create false minimums and distort averages while leaving a table that appears complete.
