For laboratory research use only. All materials sold by Eon Peptides are intended solely for in-vitro laboratory research and development. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, or supplements, and are not for human or veterinary use of any kind. Purchasing constitutes your agreement to use them accordingly.

01Scope of this policy

This Research-Use-Only ("RUO") Policy is the canonical statement of research-use terms for Eon Peptides ("we," "us," "Eon Peptides"). It applies to every material we supply, to the website, and to every order placed through any of our checkout paths.

This policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Where the summary in those terms and this policy differ in detail, this policy controls. Accepting the research-use declaration at checkout is an acknowledgement of this policy in the form presented to you on the date of your order.

02What these materials are

Every product we offer is supplied as a reference-grade research chemical intended for in-vitro laboratory research and development. Each lot is accompanied by a third-party Certificate of Analysis reporting identity and purity by the analytical methods stated on that certificate.

Materials are supplied to support bench work such as analytical method development, reference standardisation, assay calibration, and in-vitro experimental design carried out by qualified personnel in an appropriate laboratory setting.

03What they are not

Our materials have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and no statement made by Eon Peptides should be read as suggesting otherwise.

  • They are not drugs or medicinal products, and are not approved for any therapeutic indication.
  • They are not foods, beverages, dietary supplements, or nutritional products.
  • They are not cosmetics or personal-care products.
  • They are not medical devices or in-vitro diagnostic products for clinical use.
  • They are not sterile, pyrogen-free, or manufactured to any pharmaceutical or clinical-grade standard.
  • They are not supplied with, and must never be accompanied by, any dosing guidance, administration protocol, or usage instruction directed at humans or animals.

04Who may purchase

Placing an order is a representation that all of the following are true at the time of purchase. If any is not true, you may not order from us.

  • You are at least 21 years of age.
  • You are a qualified researcher, or you are purchasing on behalf of a research entity, laboratory, or institution.
  • You have the training, facilities, and professional judgement required to handle research chemicals safely.
  • You have the legal capacity and authority to accept this policy in your jurisdiction, and where you purchase on behalf of an entity, the authority to bind that entity.
  • Your intended use falls entirely within the permitted use described below.

We may ask you to identify your field of research and the institution or entity on whose behalf you are purchasing. That information forms part of our research-use record for your order.

05Permitted and prohibited use

The boundary below is absolute. It is not a formality, and it is not waived by any conversation, correspondence, or course of dealing with us.

Permitted
  • In-vitro laboratory research and development.
  • Analytical method development and validation.
  • Use as a reference standard for identity or purity comparison.
  • Assay calibration and instrument qualification.
  • Internal quality-control and stability studies.
  • Educational or academic laboratory instruction under qualified supervision.
Prohibited
  • Any administration to humans, by any route, in any quantity.
  • Any administration to animals outside a licensed and approved research protocol.
  • Ingestion, injection, inhalation, or topical application to a person.
  • Any diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical application.
  • Compounding, formulating, or repackaging into a consumer product.
  • Resale or distribution for any of the above purposes.
  • Removing or obscuring lot identification or accompanying documentation.
  • Representing our materials to any third party as fit for human or veterinary use.

06Handling and storage

You are solely responsible for the safe handling of every material you receive from us, from the moment of delivery onward. Research chemicals should be handled only by trained personnel using appropriate personal protective equipment and engineering controls suited to the material and the work.

Store materials as indicated on the vial and the accompanying documentation, in a secure location that is not accessible to untrained persons, children, or animals. Keep materials in their original labelled containers with lot identification intact. Where you transfer a material into secondary containment for bench use, label that container with the identity, lot, and the research-use restriction.

We do not supply safety data as a substitute for your own institutional risk assessment. Carry out that assessment before beginning work.

07Disposal

Unused material, expired material, contaminated material, and all associated waste must be disposed of as laboratory chemical waste in accordance with your institutional procedures and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Do not dispose of research materials in general refuse or to drain.

If you are ending a research programme and hold material you no longer need, dispose of it through your normal chemical-waste route. Do not transfer it to an individual who has not accepted this policy.

08Documentation and lot records

Each lot ships with a third-party Certificate of Analysis reporting identity and purity by the methods stated on the certificate. The COA describes the specific lot tested and is provided for your research records. Analytical figures reflect the tested sample and are not a guarantee of performance in any particular assay or application.

We recommend retaining the COA, the lot number printed on the vial, and your own receipt and handling records for the life of the research programme in which the material is used. Our COA Library holds published certificates by lot.

09Your regulatory obligations

Regulatory status varies by material and by jurisdiction, and it changes over time. Determining what applies to you is your responsibility, not ours. Before ordering, satisfy yourself that possession and intended use are lawful where you are.

  • Local and national law. Some materials are scheduled, restricted, or require a licence or permit in some jurisdictions. Confirm your position before you order.
  • Institutional approval. Where your work requires ethics-board, biosafety-committee, or equivalent institutional approval, obtain it before beginning work.
  • Import, export, and customs. You are the importer of record for international orders. Duties, taxes, import restrictions, and customs clearance are your responsibility, and a shipment refused or seized by a customs authority is governed by our Refund Policy.
  • Sport and competition. Many research compounds appear on prohibited-substance lists maintained by sporting bodies. Our materials are not supplied for use by athletes or in any competitive context.
  • Onward transfer. If you transfer material to a colleague or collaborating laboratory, you are responsible for ensuring the recipient is eligible under section 04 and accepts the terms of this policy.

10No professional advice

Nothing on this website, in our documentation, in our marketing, or in any correspondence with our team constitutes medical, clinical, veterinary, legal, or regulatory advice. Our staff cannot and will not advise on administration, dosing, protocols involving living subjects, or the therapeutic potential of any material, and any request of that kind will be declined.

Product descriptions, encyclopedia entries, and mechanism summaries on this site are provided as scientific reference material describing published in-vitro and preclinical literature. They are not claims about outcomes in humans, and they must not be read as such.

11Order review and refusal

We review orders for consistency with this policy, and we reserve the right to decline, cancel, limit, or hold any order at our sole discretion. We do not have to give a reason, and refusal is not an accusation.

Circumstances that commonly lead to a declined order include a stated or implied intended use outside the research scope, a request for dosing or administration guidance, quantities inconsistent with laboratory research, shipping details that cannot be reconciled with a research entity, or a jurisdiction where we cannot lawfully ship the material. Where we cancel an order we have accepted, we refund it in full.

12Enforcement

Breach of this policy is a breach of our Terms of Service. We may suspend or close your account, decline future orders, and where the circumstances require it, report conduct to the relevant authority.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eon Peptides and its officers, employees, and suppliers from any claim, loss, or expense arising out of any use of a material outside the scope described in this policy. Our warranty and liability position is set out in full in our Terms of Service.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. The version you accepted at checkout is recorded against your order.
